Welcome to the Health Commissioning Portal

The online legal resource for clinical commissioning

Welcome to the Health Commissioning Portal, an online resource for everyone involved in commissioning NHS services. It explains the legal implications of the commissioning reforms and draws together in a single place a range of legal, commercial and practical information relevant to commissioning and the establishment of clinical commissioning groups (CCGs). We hope that you will find the portal useful.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BILL HAS RECENTLY RECEIVED ROYAL ASSENT AND IS NOW THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE ACT 2012.  WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REVIEWING THE ACT AND UPDATING THE CONTENT OF THIS WEBSITE TO REFLECT THE FINAL PROVISIONS SET OUT IN THE LEGISLATION.

The Health Commissioning Portal is published by Mills & Reeve LLP, a leading full service UK law firm advising the health sector.
